Hilary Duff was born in Houston, Texas on September 28, 1987. At a young age Hilary began performing ballet with her older sister Hayley Duff. Eventually Hilary gave up ballet for acting.
Hilary had many successful acting jobs, but hit it big with "Lizzy McGuire." The show became a #1 hit and put Hilary in the spotlight. To capitalize on the shows success, Disney came out with the Lizzy Mcguire movie. As the staring role Hilary got a $1 million for the part. Since then Hilary has been a superstar commanding super salaries for her services.
Hilary Duff is not only an amazing actress but an incredible singer as well. Her first album was ranked #2 on the billboard charts in its first two weeks of release. Her single "So Yesterday" became a #1 single and made Hilary just as popular a musician as she is an actress.
